While recent vote threads did not directly link to any binary artifacts, the
binary artifacts were listed in the release area and could be easily checked.
That is generally best practice.

I didn't realize that there were binary Jars to verify with this release.
Why were they not listed in the vote thread?
That concerns me because the licensing for the binary Jars is what caused
the last release to fail.
