Hello everyone,
Thank you for checking out our proposal on Superset and for your
consideration for the Apache Incubator. So far, I believe we have 8
binding votes and 2 non-binding votes.
As Taylor mentioned earlier, we made a minor update to the wording in the

Joe,
Its customary to bring in the entire body of the proposal in the discussion
thread.
Its good to see that someone stepped up to be Champion. You still need
mentors. Was Bryan planning to also mentor the project? While he is a
foundation member, he is not on the IPMC.

There was a minor change to the proposal in the Incubator wiki, so technically
what were voting on and the wiki don't match.
I'm okay with that and don't think it should disrupt the vote. Highlighting the
change in this thread should be enough.

Sirona Podling,
After discussing the current state of the project on the Incubator's
general list, we've come to the conclusion that while the project is
stable, it lacks the core needs of a TLP - a voting PMC. At this time, we
would like to ask you to identify a new TLP sponsor to graduate in to

Dear Apache Incubator Community,
We would like to submit the Pulsar proposal to the incubator. Our draft is
available at:
https://wiki.apache.org/incubator/PulsarProposal
A quick overview of Pulsar:
Pulsar is a highly scalable, low latency messaging platform running on
commodity hardware.
The Apache DistributedLog team would like to announce the release of Apache
DistributedLog 0.4.0-incubating.
Apache DistributedLog (incubating) is a high performance replicated log
store. It provides replicated-log as the storage primitive for building
real-time services. Its serves as a fundament

What exactly are we trying to achieve here? There is a record number of
podlings in incubation and the best ideas so far are to shame more labor
out of the people that are already overloaded. Sure that will work, as if
burnout wasn't already a problem for mentors.
What is the lesson for the podl
