Fair enough. I don't think I ever agreed they are orthogonal. In fact the only concern I have consistently stated, and is reflected on the summary below, is that it, potentially, moves the problem rather than solves it. That being said, if we accept its orthogonal then your point is a good one.

Adam, If Myriad gets accepted, by Saturday, I don't think at this point you should aim to report this month. You may want to review with champions/mentors to agree on how to handle, but I think it's fine for your first report to come in April. You can at least look to be listed as a new podling
