This past month has been a normally good month for the Incubator.
There is a project, Traffic Server, that appears to be of interest to the
HTTPd crowd. Another project, VXQuery, is in the process of being sponsored
by the XMLBeans PMC.
The Incubator is pleased to see that log4php has gained new

Wink is brand new, but is still required to report, even on status getting
setup. Please report each month for the next three months.

I am +1 to start Incubation, but not pleased to see only one Mentor on your
list. I see that this project is going to come to us formally from the
XMLBeans PMC. I would expect a better (more complete) Mentor list when they
resubmit.
And I would hope to see community growth, including other parti

There is an uncorrected defect in that process document. It says, in part,
that the sponsoring PMC must provide the Incubator PMC with:

Hi Ant,
We had a discussion earlier at XMLBeans about sponsoring VXQuery, but there
wasn't an official vote. I didn't know this route was available, I thought
the Incubator PMC has to approve it. So, we'll take it on the XMLBeans with
an official vote.

This is definitely a valid concern. We

Hi,
This vote has now been in progress for 14 days and has not received
the necessary number of votes from the IPMC to make a release. There
has been 1 +1 binding vote, 1 +2 non-binding vote and no other votes.
The vote on shindig-dev resulted in 7 +1 binding votes, no +0 or -1's
