What do you have in mind with lucene4c? That project was closed
down a while ago. There is also the goal of Lucy http://
lucene.apache.org/lucy/ that hasn't materialized yet either.

Lokahi requires Oracle, which is a non-started for most users.

If Sonal has an itch, he can create a JIRA issue, file it, solve it,
and create a patch, attach it to the JIRA issue. Repeat until
committership is granted and then apply the patches himself. :)
