I added the UimaProposal to the wiki list of Lightning Talks. Who
knows, maybe by ApacheCon time, we'll even be a new Podling. Explaining
it in 5 minutes will be a good challenge :-)

Yeah, also in favor of five minutes. Since I will only be able to make the two
hacking days, I'll volunteer up Ted to talk about Heraldry. :P

BTW, I am sorry I won't be able to attend. Good luck with fitting all

Hmm, this would be much longer than your 3 minute Wicket at JavaOne
'05. Think you can manage the extra 2?

I'd love to do 5 minutes on Cayenne!
How does one sign up for this? Should I just show up ready to speak?
Thanks Justin for organizing this.

If we have enough podlings to fill 2 hours with a bunch of 5 minute
slots, sure - I don't think that'll be the case though. But, we can
compress the time available to the podling as more folks sign up. If
only one podling signs up, they get 2 hours to talk. =)
:) I more like the 5 min. "fast

5mins is good with 5mins 'gaps' for 'breething space' and 'speak swap'...

If you remind me on time and there is beer, I can do something like
Why your project should incubate
Why your project should not incubate
(either or both). Or whatever. I doubt that needs 15 mins though.
I don't really know what half of the incubating stuff does so I doubt I
should speak on
Do we have podlings that are interested in presenting?
I'm not sure at this time whether I can make it to Austin, but if I
can, I would certainly be interested in trying to sell Wicket in 15
minutes.
