jochen's recent announcement set me thinking about where the right
place for announcements like this. general's a cool place but should it
also go to announcements at ws? does incubator need an announcements
list?

in the downloads.html change "[userid]" to just "userid". also the download link
should be
http://ws.apache.org/jaxme/downloads.cgi. for now i patched the downloads.html on the
web site. so
browsing to http://ws.apache.org/jaxme/downloads.cgi works ok. BUT you need to fix the
