I love the idea of having an EJB server be part of Apache, and want to
see it happen.

The core developers of the OpenEJB team and I sent in CLA's, but we're
not an official committers (David Blevins asked us to so, probably
because of our work on OpenEJB). We're not sure what that means, but
we've done it. :)

The one thing the newsletter needs, I think, is a blurb

Perhaps these lines from the Geronimo page in the incubator:

Well, I'm pretty ignorant about Apache's ways, but it was my understanding
that the original committers would vote in the PMC. Is that correct? Did a
vote occur? I think its important to have representatives from each
contributing project on PMC. I would like to represent the OpenEJB
contingent.
I wish to participate in the Apache Geronimo project development.
Please let me know how can I contribute to the community.

Jeff,
For the xml-site, avalon-site (and I assume jakarta-site?) modules, there
is a cron job that synchronises daedalus with the CVS module contents.
I think this is Sam Ruby's script.
Does anyone know if a similar cron job exists for incubator-site, or does
someone have to do a 'cvs update' in d

Alex,
If people want to add themselves to something other than the mailing list,
just create a Wiki page for interested people.
Here is a start: http://nagoya.apache.org/wiki/apachewiki.cgi?ApacheJ2EE,
with a Volunteers page under it.

If that's taken, which I suspect it may be, then how about something with no
clever relationship to anything at all, like
TwentyOne,

Hi,

What I have to do? What will be my role? What are the

How do I come to know that I am an active member?
Thanks,
