in an _**/output**_ folder and maintain the _**.asf.yaml**_ file in the
_**asf-site**_ branch.

I am referring to the asf-site branch.
Generally, the website is stored in the content/ or output/ directory,
rather than at top level.
Doing so allows the root folder which contains .asf.ya
