I built it from from source (from the git repo actually) and don't
remember to have had any particular problem. They provide a cmake
solution, which creates only a static lib but it linked fine with my
VS2012 GDAL build.

I'm trying to build GDAL using Visual Studio 2012 and run into an issue
with Geopdf format.
This format depends on Poppler (or podofo) 3rd party component.
Is there a VS 2012 compatible Poppler library for win32 and x64 bits ?
I downloaded the Poppler library from http://vbkto.dyndns.org:1280
