Averalo has brought several sigificant updates at the end of August . Please

gdal (version 1.9.2) released in october took into consideration these

from source using that compilation as GDAL version (sources links to
download, compilation procédure,etc.). I am a thematician geograph and i am
a novice in software compilation;-(

I would like compile gdal 1.9.1 from GDAL'S SVN then compile Qgis 1.8 from
source using Gdal SVN version because i 'm working on displaying postgis
raster data with qgis. And i noticed a bug with gdal 1.9 regarding overviews
(bug fixed on gdal 1.9.1 according to Mauricio de paulo_
