Hi Guys
I miss-spelt an arguement (-dstnodat - its missing the a off the end) and
the command line arg processing was not informative about the error, kept
telling me I had the wrong type of resampling.
-bash-3.2$ gdalwarp --version
GDAL 1.9.2, released 2012/10/08
-bash-3.2$ gdalwarp -of ERS -s

I have an ERS (ermapper) dataset I want to reproject into wsg84 and then
change the file format to netcdf4. I am using GDAL 1.9.2 linked against
netcdf 4.1.3
I get different results using the following.
One step:
