Is there currently any plans to adopt simple feature 1.2 standard to ogr?
I found few earlier posts from year 2006 and 2008 discussing this.
Frank said then his planning that but without funding it's not going
to happen.
Is the situation same now days?

gdallocationinfo gets the right answer for co-ordinates, so I'm just
checking to see how it does it and will incorporate this into my pixel
