The method importFromEPSG() and the EPSG file look like what I'm looking
for.
I'll investigate it further.
Thanks,
Paul

Hi List,
We use GDAL with Proj.4 in MapWindow GIS.
We're currently in the process of upgrading to GDAL v1.8
We have some issues with projections in MapWindow.
We partially us GDAL methods and partially our custom ones.
We also are more and more working with EPSG codes with WMS and WFS. So we

Hello list,
I had a bad surprise today using the new gdal 1.8 package available in
ubuntugis-unstable :
When linked both to tiff v3 and gdal 1.8, the GTIFF driver is disabled
with a warning appearing like :
WARNING ! libtiff version mismatch : You're linking against libtiff

Hi,
Derived Bands of the VRT format seems like a very powerful resource.
From the tutorial (http://www.gdal.org/gdal_vrttut.html) it is clear
that the Pixel Functions themselves have to be written in C, which is
probably anyway best for performance.
I also get the impression that the correspon
I HAVE OBTAINED THE SOLUTION
Hello everybody:
I had one problem (read below) with a Geographic Transformation. I tried
multiple choices but anything worked.
I thought that I get the solution when tried this way:
ogr2ogr -s_srs "+proj=utm +zone=30 +ellpse=intl +towgs84=-84,-107,-120,5,6
Hi,
Motion: I move to adopt RFC 35: Delete, reorder and alter field definitions of
OGR layers.

Best regards,
