Commit r16-833-gfbb7f1cb5d3c8b appears to have broken builds with
makeinfo from texinfo 6.7 (Debian: 6.7.0.dfsg.2-6) - but not 6.8
(6.8-6+b1). With 6.7, I see (linebreaks manually added):
