This has been working fine for some time now, so closing. Verified by building
r154011: no debuginfo problems.

I'm not sure how (or why) but... I checked out gcc trunk rev. 152325, and the
problems seems to have gone away (at least for now).

This is not really specific to debug info after all, and since tls doesn't have
its own category, I think middle-end is the best description of this bug.
