The bug is in 4.2 but 4.2 is now closed. I cannot compile the program with 4.3
or later because the preprocessed source will no longer compile. I am going to
close this as WONTFIX. We could reopen it if we got a new pr

The 4.0 branch is closed, so why is this a blocker? Need to know
if this is present in 4.2.
