Could you easily test it with a 4.1 compiler? I would like to be sure it's not
a regression in 4.2 with respect to 4.1, in which case we should try to fix it.
If the bug was also present in 4.1, then we can close

The problem occurred with gcc-4.2.0 but it is solved with installation of
gcc-4.3.0. The bug can be closed
