I was somewhat used to the bounds-checking patches for GCC 3.x from
Herman ten Brugge.
Now that GCC-4.x ships with mudflap, I am a bit confused, since the
bounds-checking patches also exist at least for until GCC-4.0.2.
What is the difference between the two systems?
