I would like to start using the GNU Compiler Collection (GCC),
particularly
GFortran. Given the number of compiler and linker options that there are, it
makes a lot

of how the @file option is supposed to work. What is the proper structure
of such a file? Can it include comments? If so, how are those comments
delimited?
