Hello Everyone,
I would like to add some tests into the testsuite of GCC that depend on a
library for execution. Is it possible for me to set the ld_library_path to
point to the library's location? The shared object is stored in
$build_dir/i686-pc-linux-gnu/libcilkrts -OR- $install_dir/lib.
Snapshot gcc-4.8-20120812 is now available on
ftp://gcc.gnu.org/pub/gcc/snapshots/4.8-20120812/
and on various mirrors, see http://gcc.gnu.org/mirrors.html for details.
This snapshot has been generated from the GCC 4.8 SVN branch
with the following options: svn://gcc.gnu.org/svn/gcc/trunk
Thanks for the feedback. I based my "hope" on the below link:

It does look like patches for VLE has reached the GNU binutils -
probably what you are referring to. Please advise what good it is to
have VLE in the binutils, but not in GCC ? I thought on
Bernd (or any other bfin/c6x users), would you have some free cycles to
test the cxx-conversion branch on bfin and c6x?
I needed to make a couple of mechanical changes to some VEC_* calls
(patch attached). To build, you simply need to:
$ svn co ssh://gcc.gnu.org/svn/gcc/branches/cxx-conver

Lots still fail after correcting the verifier :-)
