program bug is encountered.
Previously the program stopped, and the error flashed up.
Now when the program stops, a new split is created momentarily with
the error showing in that split.

Do You mean the executable was created ok but when you run it the actual
executable crashes? I'm assuming that if you run your project via the IDE it
