Maybe you can try adding a file .Xresources with Xft.dpi: 90 or less inside
home's folder of each user.

I had similar problem with earlier Gambas3 revision, and I did fix it manually.
Do you forms have Scaled property on?
If so forms are scaled with desktop font size.
