Sure, this is just what I did. But according to the address line above,
the help viewer still expects the texts coming from the internet.
Any other idea?

This produces a syntax error, but it doesn't tell me why:
Private Const $TB As String = Chr$(9)
If I leave "Const" away, it runs, so it shouldn't be the $TB which
disturbs, as it is accepted as a variable naming. The rest should be ok,
too. So I can't find any reason...
Thanks for any hint

Hi Randall,
I now got the gb.net.pop3 component to work, and your example works too.
However, I only receive the message headers, not the message bodies, and
the messages aren't downloaded and deleted from the server.
This is what I got, when there were 3 messages in the inbox:

Thank you everyone for your help. I'm in holiday, and had an internet
stop for couple of days. So, sorry for double posting.
It might indeed be the reason that gb.net.pop3 wasn't compiled due to

Just wanted to try, but I don't find gb.net.pop3 - where is it? Is it
something quite new? My version here is 3.3.4.
I tried to activate the gb.net, gb.net.curl and gb.net.smtp components,
but it still doesn't know about Pop3Client.

There is a contact form on our website, and it sends an email with the
contact data to me. The idea is to have another contact form which is an
application form, and to process these data by a Gambas to ma
Hi folks,
I am still cycling around a problem with the printing system in Gambas3.
You have to tell the system how many pages to print to make it start
printing.
But there are cases when you don't know how many pages will result from
printing before you actually get going.
So I thought, maybe

and I do not know what "?", "->" and ":" are good for... I guess, the
basic functions are called maxy and maxx, but why with "_" etc...?
