Hello Gianluigi!
Your tip did the trick!! Thank you!
I did not think that it could be a linux("external") problem, so I
searched and searche inside Gambas.
I think I am not that experianced with Linux than I thought to be.. :-(
And thank to all of the list t

Hello Marty,
Had some bad minutes with the new Gambas and databases. In the old Version some
operations worked without opening the database seperately. After I have changed
the code ( inserted some databasename.open, which I forgot earlier) everything
was fine. So don't panic, but be sure that y

Hello and Merry Christmas!
I have created a program with english texts and then I have translated
my texts to German via Project->translate.
This works as expected. On an English installation of Linux I see
English texts - on a "German" Linux I see the texts in German. So far
everything is well!

Hello,
I try to get the latest Gambas 3.5.4 working on a banana pi. This little
rascal works with a /ARM/-Cortex-A7-Dual-Core-CPU.
When I install the Gambas3 in their original repo (Lbuntu from lemaker)
I get version 3.1.1. This works, but it is not up to date.
When I add the latest ppa:

Hello!
All works well but I get an error saying:
(MyProgram140708:8024): Gtk-CRITICAL **: gtk_text_buffer_emit_insert:
assertion `g_utf8_validate (text, len, NULL)' failed
I think that "140708:8024" is the place from where the faulty call is
done. But how can I find this/this line in my source
Now, I see. Benoit always does such a excellent job, that I assumed that the
repos were already there.
I think I can wait a few days! ;-)
Sorry for wasting your time!

Thank you Benoît!
At the moment I can not see the 3.5.4. Still get the 3.5.3 no matter if
I reload my packet definitions.
I use Ubuntu 12.4 LTS. Think I give it a new try tomorrow...

Hello,
now that I have learned the gb.gui does not work for me I have tried qt4.
To my surprise I can not set the backgroundcolor of e.g. Tabstrip (only
a small area is in background color) or button, which has no background
at all.
Is this a bug or is this a feature?

Hello,
To display a html-file I would need the webbrowser from qb.qt4.webkit.
That would be no problem BUT:
My program grew of many month and is based on qb.gui (As it was a
default when I started it)
If I drop gb.gui to use gb.qt4.webkit (and gb.qt4)I get different
looking forms and my prog

Hi,
System.TimeZone is defined as follows:
Return the system timezone.
The returned value is the number of seconds you must add to the
locale time to get the UTC time.
*That is not always done correctly. *
During winter I used it and it has a result of 3600. This is correct as
