Hello all..
I'm attempting to upgrade from 3.2-Release to -current, got all the sources through

Hi,
While updating the src on the newly installed machine would work,
it doesn't answer the real problem. The 'make release' target
in /usr/src/release is responsible for creating the src tarball
which should (and actually does) contain the tools directory.
The problem is that sysinstall is

Hi,
I've just installed a 4.0-2208-SNAP on a test machine, sources

Hi,
On a fresh cvsup of the -CURRENT sources, I've been trying to do a
`make world`. I've gotten all the way through (past signal 12 errors, which
were fixed by reading the -CURRENT archives and recompiling an up-to-date
kernel) to the boot loader.

No, I didn't.
And, since I could make the modules manually, why count have that worked?

I didn't have NOPERL set, but it happened to me the last time I rebuilt. I
tried building again without the -j option to make, and all was well.

Then why don't we take it out of make.conf for now? If we may still need the
functionality, then we can leave the logic in the build mechanism,

Do you have NOPERL uncommented in /etc/make.conf? If so, don't do that.

Do you have any local hacks in /usr/src/contrib/gcc/ ?? It seems you may
have corrupted sources. Can you remove /usr/src/contrib/gcc and ``cvs
