I would know if FreeBSD kernel has a functionality or a syscall which allow
rebooting without resetting hardware like kexec on Linux.
If there are an equivalent, how can I use it?
Otherwise there are any plan for implement it?

Ok, but I think an IDE that can easily compile projects with clang is
not a bad idea.
