I like your idea of turning your SoundFont into a collaborative project. I've thought about this type of thing before, in regards to creating a SoundFont patch format, using XML which could be used to pass around changes and merge them. libInstPatch already has the begging of serializing SoundFont

Just so you all know, both GeneralUser GS and the Rosegarden instrument file have been updated. You can download both from my GeneralUser GS page . I have removed the old files from my webspace. FYI, the updated Rosegarden instrument file fix

Josh, Pedro and Bernat As a service to Linux users, I propose that the 'GeneralUser GS FluidSynth v1.43.rgd" file written by S Christian Collins be made available as part of the new release distribution. Configuring rosegarden with this 'studio file' makes rosegarden work seamlessly with fluidsynt
