Confirmed latest git version #f52597 fixed, telnet works.
While applying standalone patch #b75c8f to v1.1.6 will cause compliation error.

I wish to run fluidsynth server (v1.1.6 package installed from Debian 8) but it
could not be connected by telnet. Does anyone has any idea what is the

$ netstat -tln
Active Internet connect
