A similar app is Flotzam: http://www.flotzam.com/ You can set it to follow multiple sources (twitter, youtube, flickr, digg, rss etc), and there's a suitably geeky Tetris skin for it (shown on the homepage). Needs Windows though. From: europython-bounce
