in case anyone were curious, here is the chvol script I made :) works
nicely (bound to ctrl-alt-p/ctrl-alt-shift-p at the moment)

I have tried several values for key, KPPLUS,+,KP_+,NUM_PLUS,etc. but
nothing has seemed to work..
