Hi all. When I have a maximized window, and I drag it from one desktop to
another, it quite often ends up slightly overlapping the shelf. I then have
to trigger a 'maximize' event to make it sit flush against the shelf. I'm
not sure whether this in itself is a bug or not. But regardless, if a

I missed the announcement of extra.enlightenment.org, but I am glad to
see a central place for themes. I hope that many of the themers like
Agust (whose themes I use almost daily) and Duma will be stepping
forward with updated themes.
However, I have a suggestion for themes: providing a way to

Greetings.
Now that everything is composited, would I be crazy to ask for the ability
to scale windows? Use cases:
1) I like playing wizball ( C64 game ) with my son. People around my age
might remember it. Some genius wrote a Windows version that works perfectly
in wine. But it runs at around 64

Hello,
I would be very happy to see some feature, that would prevent me
from running another instance of an application if that application is
already running. Or I could setup maximum number of instances of one
application.
Thank you,

Hello,
The battery module could have an option for running a program when
the battery reaches some energy level. Like the "Show alert when battery
is low" option plus "run this program when battery is low". (I know,
that making a script for doing hibernation at some energy level is
easy, but this

I would really like to see newly opened programs get placed just below
the stacking layer of whatever window has focus at the time... this
would prevent, say, a firefox window from stealing focus if I was typing
in a gaim window while it launches (I hate it when this happens). Thoughts?

Yes, good idea, have been thinking about it to! So it's not crap:-)

I'm the same way.. i have the maximize policy set so that windows won't
maximize over my modules, but I seldom actually maximize a window. It'd
be much handier to reserve that space for *only* the module, so no
window will enter it, under any circumstances.

Could it be possible to add some type of no go zone to modules so that
you can't move/resize a window over it?
This way you can always see the modules you frequently use (pager, ibar)
and hide modules you use rarely (temp sensors, etc)
I using the expand maximise policy now and it works well
You mean, like in the macosx dock ? double-click on the bar minimize
the window to the dock
I can see 5 actions for a window :
- close
- maximize/unmaximize
- fold (default double-click action)
- minimize to tray/dock
- hide (hide the window but keep it in the windows list)

it would be nice to have an option to override window close button to
minimize the window to the system tray instead of closing.
