Hello everyone,
I'm having some trouble with Eclair. I compiled emotion _without_ Xine
support but _with_ gstreamer support. Then I compiled eclair and tried
to run it and get:

You can get it to run a playlist (make in xmms or something else) from the
command line. e.g.

Hey dude,
You never got back to me on this one. What happens
when you rebuild the src rpm of emotion and eclair?

Does it help? I' m afraid I cannot reproduce your errors. :(

Hi,
I'm trying to run Eclair on my FreeBSD box. Compiled just fine and it's
starts fine, it looks great but I can't do anything with it. If I choose
to "Open-Add file" nothing happens, if I "Load playlist" or tryes to
open the search window Eclair crashes (SIG:11)!
Any ideas?

Eclair does not show video though it plays it. When the video window
starts its extremely miniscule and on increasing its size it just
displays a single colour continuously.
Xine is working fine though.

Hi,
I use mostly e16, while configuring and testing e17.
Just for the fun of it. I started Eclair from e16, and
added some songs and everything went fine. It played
everything, including videos from my music directory.
I don't know why it didn't worked yesterday. I will

I have been waiting for eclair to be fixed. If it is a problem with
my install, I would like to make sure before I blow everything away.

Hi, I just installed the latest version of eclair.
It compiled with no problems, and the application starts correctly
but... as soon as I try to open an mp3, it crashes :(
I don't see any error message, even launching it from terminal.
Any idea, or any suggestion?
Thanks a lot guys

Hi all,
I just redownloaded e17 from cvs and put it together on my new laptop
(gentoo). The only hitch I've had is to do with the sound coming from
eclair and emotion_test.
I'm using intel's new high definition audio (as opposed to it's old AC '97
equipment) with the azalia drivers and alsa 1.0
