One thing I really don't understand is themes. I probably wouldn't ever even play with themes except that depending on which distro I'm using the default is usually kinda dark. (I guess black is in) But occasionally I've wound up with something I like better, or that's easier on my eyes etc... But

J, its a long story as to what my eap files have for win name and win class. but the only way I am able to have a app launched from a 'launcher' in engage and not have it reappear in the 'open windows' part is to link the eap files in the engage subdir. if you like, I can send you screen shots.

run xprop in a terminal and then click on a window of xfe look at the results and find the line WM_CLASS. you should see something like WM_CLASS(STRING) = "pyrrho", "Eterm" The first string is the window name, the second is the window class. window name may change from instance to instance.

Hey Kim FYI, I compiled 16.7.1 (tarball from sourceforge), on SuSe 9.2 x86, on a dual Xeon. The Genesis theme uses the mints font, and this font is really messed up in the window borders, but ok in the menus. http://freshmeat.net/projects/genesis/?branch_id=42485 Thats all I know for now.
