Hello everyone,
I'm having input issues on my comp. When I left-click my mouse I

proper left-click event. On Efm this can be frustrating, since clicking

Using entry widget from elementary, new lines are creating unexpected
character encodings. First noticed when viewing a file in vim that was
created with entry. Ran 'od -c' on the file and it shows that the new
lines from entry are producing the code triplet, 342 200 251. New

I just upgraded to revision 40965, and now all the power related buttons
in the system module are greyed out. I can't do shutdown, restart,
suspend, or hibernate. I got the note to rebuild all modules, and I
rebuilt everything I had from E-MODULES-EXTRA, but the system module

Sorry if this has already been answered sometime on this list, but I've
searched google for an hour now, and can't find the answer.

applications in e17, the font settings don't get loaded. For instance,

I was wondering if there were any recommended IDEs (C++ primarily) for
working in E. I don't have any of the KDE or Gnome packages installed,
and don't want them. I've used eclipse in the past but I'd rather find
something that compiles natively for speed reasons.
Any suggestions? Or should I just

G'Day,
I have been enjoying eslides for a while now, with it
switching my background all the time. Recently,
however, some of the backgrounds have not been
displayed --- the thumbnail in eslides is visible, but
the background is either a fuzz of different colours,
or xmms tiled across the screen.
Thanks for the help with the backgrounds! The list_bg
and use_bg commands have done the trick for me. Very
different from what I was expecting, but it all works
in the end.
I have another question though. If there are several
items on the top layer, how is it determined which is

I was recently looking at some screenshots of DR17,
