So I just learned that E once had (and someone has an active working-ish
fork of) it's own DM, called Entrance!
Has anyone tried it? And why was it dropped? I'd love to have even login
handled "in the ecosystem!"

So, I have a 3-monitor setup, and I keep a Chrome window on the right side
monitor with certain tabs open and another Chrome window on the left side
monitor with certain other tabs. The center monitor is for
terminal/Intellj IDEA/etc. When I close Chrome or log out and back in, and
restart Chrome
So I'm in the process of switching from Cinnamon to E, and other than a few
font issues which I can probably figure out myself, the thing I'm having
issues figuring out is Conky.
I have 2 Conky instances I used on Cinnamon, one on my main center monitor
that shows the usual system stats, and anoth
"huh I wonder if E still exists!?!?"
It does.
I'm in the process of switching to E; just a few things I need to resolve
before I can stop defaulting back to Cinnamon.

I'm trying to find the default background - the one shown here:
http://www.enlightenment.org/_media/aa/shot-2021-12-13_17-47-19.png
I edje_decc'ed all the included backgrounds and the only theme I could find
but I can not find this background graphic!
Where is it!?

USE_LIBTOOL_VER=15, but that's not in any of the
Makefiles, and it doesn't seem to make any difference having it in the
environment, either.
I also found a related discussion thinking it was a problem with gcc
and the "-lc" flag. That flag isn't in pthreads or entrance, so n
e going on when entrance checks to see if
the ~/.Xauthority file is writable. That's where it's hosing me up and no
matter what I do, I can't get it to work.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
