I found a workaround if anybody cares, what happens is that programs are
compiled in
a sandbox to make sure nothing bad is done, so "outside" accesses are
not allowed.
The workaround is :
FEATURES="-sandbox" emerge media-libs/emotion

Any ideas on why Ecore_Desktop.h is m
lock and a calendar module (that could actually
be one module), where you click on the date/time and it opens up a
calendar (like Raster suggested in a calendar module related thread)
would be better for an all-in-one bar. I personally would use both variants.

then simply type as root :

and then install it with emerge.

Could you rename it "ecalendar-version.tar.gz" (just the filename)? I'm
creating a Gentoo ebuild for it but calendar is too generic, and for
consistancy, adding an "e" in front would link it to E, like evolume and
such.

I can't build Eterm got from CVS. I run ./autogen.sh and then make, but
i get:

themes doesn't show up in the themes menu, the other modules that I
compile doesn't show in the modules section, emotion doesn't show at all

It's like they aren't even downloaded. I use Ubuntu 5.04 and smoon's
repositery. Enlightenment e17 (0.16.999.011).
