Hi all. Recently - I'm guessing after commit
b8322b2b0e526910030907b1227dc8072d456336 - maximising *some* gtk+
windows is buggy. Evince, in particular, triggers issues. The window
size selected is a *little* too large in both dimensions, and also the
positioning is wrong. I'm have a primary LCD and
pactl is the CLI for the pulsaudio volume control

Set the percentage to whatever works for you. Unfortunately, my Lenovo
laptop sound control keys don't work after doing this.
