A little busy myself, but really interested in this...glad to offer any
help I can. I'd be happy to help out with the theme(s), not much of an
artist, but I know how to create e17 themes and know the code pretty well.

I've recently upgraded my slack system. until now I've always used
static devices in /dev (no udev, no hal), but this time I've decided to
install all was needed to automagically handle usb devices :)
I've also installed the places module, but it doesn't mount the usb
stick when I plug it
