There are a few guides to using Edje, which is the theme format used
for e17, but very little theme specific documentation. I would
recommend finding these edje documents first, and walk through some of
the concepts, building some samples as you go. Then your best bet is

i have upgraded the whole system (including xorg, xdm,...).
since then i have strange problem with entrance - when i logout
from the system and come back after some time, entrance seems
frozen; animation is not going anymore and typing on keyboard
does not change anything on display. however,
