I have used the breezy packages by shadoi on my laptop, so it's a packaging problem. And now it works well with suid root.

Ensure calendar is UNLOADED before you delete the

Please delete your ~/.e/e/config/default/module.calendar.cfg file
and see if that clears up the problem (both of you)

I'm getting this odd compilation error for apps/e related to valgrind
somehow. This is an amd64 gentoo system. I tried re-emerging valgrind
(3.1.0) but it didn't solve the problem. I'm not sure if valgrind was
updated and created a version conflict or not.
Thanks,

There are rpm's here:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=2
Whether or not they work with suse I don't know.
If not it should be possible to use the source rpms and do an rpmbuild
--rebuild .src.rpm.
Does 0.16.7.1 use .en
Just updated from CVS (sourceforge) and got this error:
checking for valgrind >= 2.4.0... yes

Hi,
When i issue
enlightment_remote -module-load calendar
it loads, but if i try to enable it by issuing
enlightment_remote -module-load calendar
or enabling it in the menu, E17 restarts. Gdb BT brings nothing
useful, as it stats that the application terminated normally. I think
its a gcc-4.1
