Just been messing around with Fedora 3 and Entrance. Can anyone here
confirm they've got it up and going from cvs?
I've got Entrance running as the preferred display manager without a
hitch, but it fails at authentification for some reason.

Jim, the easiest way I found to accomplish this was to create
A separate executable file called it "E17" with the usual contents
In /usr/bin..
#!/bin/sh
NOSPLASH=1
export NOSPLASH
NOWELCOME=1
export NOWELCOME
/usr/bin/enlightenment
Then I would call it via .xinitrc or in any DM as "E17" instead

appear outside my screen. On the older CVS-builds you could really see

Thanks, that is _exactly_ what I need. However Debian unstable + the
j.portalier.free.fr packages only give me 0.16.7.3 - is 0.16.8
