Looks like a good enough workaround for me. Main thing I'll have to
save are keybindings since I've defined quite a few. Also noticed that
you're back to default (I guess) of two desktops. But the
themes/background are still available so it's quite suitable. Thanks

It is easy to maximize, minimize, shade, etc. from the keyboard. And you
can send windows to other desktops
