I've just tried current CVS of DRI Mesa
after 'make linux-dri-x86' I have following output of /usr/X11R6/var/log
drmOpenDevice: node name is /dev/dri/card0
drmOpenDevice: open result is 9, (OK)
drmOpenByBusid: Searching for BusID pci::01:00.0
drmOpenDevice: node name is /dev/dri/card0
