Summary: savage.ko oops if glxinfo is called

It is looking for 'ed' and 'sed' both. If you don't have 'ed' (which
from what I understand has been dropped from at least one distro) it
is fairly easy to convert the 'ed' commands to 'sed' commands.
I know somebody else has already posted this as a patch, I can also
offer up a patch if needed.
