I've had XMMS's GL spectrum analyzer plugin (a) kill XMMS when trying to
stop the plugin, and (b) hang the X server (mouse pointer moves still,

I haven't seen OpenGL problems, but then again I am not a heavy OpenGL user.
I only reported the problem I have personal experience with (I have seen at
least 2 other people report similar/the same problem).

am I the only one?

I bought a Matrox G450 PCI card. It's important to note that this is
the PCI version of the G450 and not the AGP card. Which is where the
trouble begins...so I have X running, mostly...now I want

Using a Radeon 64MB, XFree86 4.1.0, kernel 2.4.5-ac16
Currently it looks like the largest texture I can upload is limited to
the nearest 2^n pixels below the horizontal resolution of the screen.
Is there any way to work around this and get a 2048x2048 texture on a
1600x1200 screen?
Another thing
The other reported tdfx problem is the one where changing resolutions can
cause the X server to crash - happens on 4.1.0 and on late pre-4.1.0 DRI
trunk. This is on a V5 5500 in my case. It is not easily reproducible, so I
have not been able to get an X server log (it usually happens when in run

Hello. I'm working in adapting the mach64 drm driver to the new template
structure. I have a pair of questions:
What is the meaning of the __HAVE_SG define? I've set it to zero in the
mach64 driver, but I'm not sure about this supposition.
In the mach64_dma.c , the following line:
dev_priv->s

Hi,
I have still problems with the tdfx driver. I think it is a memory related
problem. Te problem wasn't there in X 4.0.3 and before. So I'm asking what
was changed? 'Cos I want use X 4.1.0 but I can't 'cos of this problem. And
