Using SB3 and Slimserver 6.5.0 with an Intel Mac with iTunes I get unlistenable stuttering when playing files ripped in aiff, apple lossless and AAC formats. With MP3 files this happens much less frequently. This makes no sense to me, but then I am new user and pretty ignorant technologically.

There certainly isn't autosensing, although I imagine it could be added in a firmware change. The plugin that allows input switching doesn't seem to have a web component at the moment (that I can find) but again I wouldn't imagine it would be a difficult thing to add. -- radish

Can you access the web interface? Maybe the slimserver.conf file is corrupt, or slimserver is blocking all access to itself. I mean, there is an option in the slimserver/security settings to block not alowed ip's. Deleting the slimserver.conf file should help, but you have to do all configuration
