Hi Arnaud,
As I know, the current kernel drivers(hid & hidparser) on Solaris can
not handle USB/HID UPS devices. However, there is a project "HID
Extending" in progress with the goal as "support more hid devices and
features in hid devices in solaris, including function keys in keyboard,

Hi Arnaud,
For Solaris, I do not know if related drivers are ready in the kernel
But for Devicekit-power, our current plan is just to implement all
features supported by HAL(Solaris version) only.

this is a good news
Hi Richard,
It's really a good news. I am currently working on porting
Devicekit-power to Solaris and engaged in replacing udev and sysfs
related code with Solaris ones that implement the same functionality.
I will check the branch and get Solaris supported.

I've pushed an experimental branch "not-just-gudev" which allows
non-linux platforms to plug code into DeviceKit-power. It's not
tested, but I would appreciate if non-linux people could check it out
and tell me what you think. Thanks.
Richard.
