The redirects are giving the expected results, which is to redirect people to
the Qt 5 latest and increase that documentation set's exposure. The Qt 5 pages
are bubbling up to the top, from my testing.
The real (as real as can be) solution is to start the de-emphasization of Qt
4.8 docu

Just a heads up: we restructured doc.qt.digia.com to host Qt Enterprise
documentation.
Previously, it was designated as "Archives" which hosts non-Qt Project
documentation.
"Archives" is now at doc.qt.digia.com/archives and there are links to that page
from the main doc.qt.digia.com p

Topi was instrumental in getting the Welcome Screen up and running with
examples. Topi becoming an approver will only benefit the Qt Project.
He is also helpful with documentation issues in the JIRA and IRC.

We're generating documentation snapshots of the release branch (qt5.git) at
http://doc-snapshot.qt-project.org/qt5-release/qtdoc/index.html It builds the
documentation several times during the day.
The stable snapshot is still the main snapshot, but for people working on the
releas
pecifically list the additions manually. For 5.2, I
assume that the QML module versions will be incremented, so we need to look at
the issue more seriously.
