Strange, that's not in my configure log.
Hi,
Because windowing systems will usually provide absolute coordinates in
their pointer events, hiding all the cursor management, raw event
translation, etc. hassle from the clients. Also the Qt events contain
absolute coordinates and in the end a handleMouseEvent() call is not
much more the

Hi,
I am trying to copy libQtCore.so.5.0.0 to another different folder to debug
with my application,
but find that I can't step into the source code.
After look into libQtCore, it seems that the path of source code is relative
instead absolute, for example as bellow:
../../include/QtCore/../..

Hi,
I am currently working on evdevmouse input fixes for the eglfs usecase.
During the testing I had two mice in parallel .
I saw that each mouse maintains its own position on the screen, because the
QWindowSystemInterface::handleMouseEvent() takes only absolute coordinates.
Wouldn't be relative c
Hi,
I want to request a late source incompatible change in QtPrintSupport.
The QAbstractPritnDialog and QAbstractPageSetupDialog classes are completely
unnecessary, are given as bad examples in the Qt API design standards, and

We have a draft of the Qt Contributors Summit schedule structure,
including a few pre-scheduled sessions:
There is one plenary session each morning, covering a big topic to
inspire (but not restrict) the rest of the day:

Great!
Are you allowed to submit the contribution? If not, I'll do it myself

This build error was on our production 32 bit systems. We are just
know in the process of transitioning to 64 bit systems. (We have a lot
of legacy and limited downtime opportunities to make big changes. We
are also a little short on staff.)
I extracted this build issue int
Hi, All!
I am just try to build Qt5 under Windows, use MinGW-TDM or MinGW-w64

I don't know how to fix the problem.
Any comments?

You need to make install after building each module to copy the output to the
prefix directory you specified in configure.
The top level makefile only works for in-source developer builds.
There's also the build.pl script which works for top level builds with some
restrictions as specified in th

Hi,
it's been a while and the touch handling issues keep comming back.
Since I don't think just talking helps I spent the last month writing patches
with Shawn's and Laszlo's help, testing on actual touch screens.
The result are two patches, I'd like to have more opinions on these. They are

Hi Thiago,
reading through the whole thread, I am leaning towards proposal 2. It
might be slightly more difficult to document, but has less API clutter and
is probably easier for us to maintain in the longer term.
